Aguero injured after a car accident in the Netherlands

Good points are
A/ He's alive
B/ It's international break after tomorrow

Not with you on this. I reckon that pretty much scuppers us. One left back, two strikers and three centre halves at the club, and we lose Mendy, Aguero and Kompany. All 3 positions were areas of concern this summer, and indeed we were looking to address our shortcomings in all of them.....but we failed, and now the inevitable (in terms of the worst always happening to us) has occurred. We face months with a central midfielder playing left back, and pinning our hopes on Stones and Jesus, who will have to play Saturday/Wednesday for months without a rest. Yes we can put Sterling up top, yes we can put Delph at left back, but neither is a natural in those key positions, and both represent a marked drop off in quality. An inbuilt propensity to flap notwithstanding, the last 24 hours has pretty much derailed our season in my opinion, given the intensity of our programme and the supremely competitive nature of this league

Find it hard to argue against anything you've said there tbh

Fuck me, at the rate our players are dropping we'll be lucky if we can put a five aside team together by the time the January transfer window opens.

Only positive is that Sergio didn't suffer a more serious injury or even worse.

Sick of people saying 'why was he in Holland?'

It's hardly a long haul flight. Can be there in 1hr 15mins ffs.

He should of been home listening to recordings of Gerald Sinstadt, gazing wantonly at a picture of a meat and potato pie muffin, saying "when I retire Amigo, you are mine"

That will be at least 4 - 6 weeks out....ive broken ribs and heeled really fast acoording to physios but it was 4 weeks before i could do anything at all and pronably another 2 before there was no pain at all

the next couple of months is relatively kind in terms of opposition, granted december is a lot tougher and i expect sergio to be back by then, yes i agree we will need to strenghten in jan, but i still expect to be top 4 at that point

Laughable, makes the last ditch signing of Sanchez look even more unprofessional. Should of secured his signature earlier in the window.

So the weakest parts of the squad for coverage are LB, CB and CF and all our best players are injured in those positions. Typical City dead? Is it fuck!

Pep could well have played Jesus on Saturday anyway, high pressing an intensity is a must, but long-term losing a player like Aguero is never a good thing for the team, especially after the Mendy news. Hope it doesn't knock confidence on the pitch.

We failed! I thought we signed FIVE top players. How many did you want us to sign - 10 ?

Other than Mendy, both those players have historic problems for missing games. That's not typical City, just bad planning.
