I’d forgotten about Green. The man really deserves a thread of his own. The ignorance, the self importance, the lack of knowledge, the whole ‘man on the Clapham Omnibus’ persona, he needs an absolute battering. Odious. You couldn’t go for a pint with him under any circumstances

He genuinely seems to think his opinion is that of an expert. The only time he's worth listening to is when he's paired with Jimmy Armfield who has no qualms about slapping him down.
