The mersey gateway toll bridge is open - but googlemaps doesn't know, but does know the old bridge is closed, so is sending everything via Warrington or over Thelwall. are Satnavs the same? 30 minutes Widnes to Runcorn via warrington is what googlemaps shows!

Sat Navs should do if

1) they are updated ...some charge for this though.
2) if they have the 'traffic' facility and can plan a route based on current traffic reports
