Anyone recommend any decent and reasonably priced electricians?
Woke up this morning to a burning smell and found the timer on the water boiler has burnt through with the casing singed and melted. Only fitted as new 18 months ago however on calling the company who fitted today seems they are no longer trading!
Live in St Georges Island Castlefield M15 if anyone knows anyone suitable and qualified.

Have you checked your home insurance policy?

I suspect that electricians will be very busy in the next 24 hours after the storm lands, get one in as quick as possible mate.

Bit late but tell the manufacturer and that you're showing the timer to trading standards (or the fire service) - it may be a fault that needs a recall.

Any heating engineer should be qualified to change it (while an electrician is unlikely to be Gas Safe registered).
