Half an hour of perfection

True, I actually read St Marks post the wrong way round. Was quite surprised to see City the bookies 3rd favourites
Just stunned to see it, I've been watching City since 67, never had this feeling and enjoyment before, idolise Colin always have, but but but but fuksake this is a different game, I find myself watching the clock not because I'm worried about the result, just because I don't want it to end.

Links dead for me
Zelda is sad :(

Great read though. When people talk about Pep elevating the league he's in you can get a sense of it from this kind of article. Last time I think this has happened in our league to such an extent would be early Wenger and to smaller degree Makelele style Chelsea

I wrote for Unibet on the first thirty minutes of last night's game. It's a wee bit pretentious but I hope you like.

I was enjoying your writing style, but by the end I grew tired of the metaphors. Over killed it, however you can write a lot better than many professionals.

I agree with the comments above that City have played better this season. I felt for long spells of the game that we had lost control

It's a matter of personal taste, but I disagree with your criticism about the over use of metaphor. There was an aesthetic beauty about our football that can't be adequately conveyed without the use of poetic imagery. Mundane, everyday language simply wouldn't be enough. As I texted to a mate, "There are virgins around the world weeping at the unattainable purity of our football"

There is no doubt that when we play to our passing best it is impossible to defend against.

Our football is getting better and better.

My favourite comment I read about the Stoke game was from a Liverpool fan ( who had just watched the world's bestest game ever) , paraphrasing here,

"this is like watching amazing porn having just had disappointing sex with your fat wife"
