Looking ahead to next weekend, it is obvious that a draw between them and Spurs would be great for us, however if one of them were to win, I think I would prefer United to get the 3 points. I feel ever so slightly sick writing that but looking at the bigger picture, I just think Spurs are more of a threat to us. I think Spurs are a much better side than United.

I know the draw is technically the best result for us, but I hope Spurs smash them. If they lose that game that is them done and we can concentrate on a two horse race, while enjoying a Mourinho meltdown as a sideshow

You're missing the point. The rags and liverpool are definitely in a scrap for 5th place. In that respect they are big rivals and its a good point away.

When it comes to rag supporters, anything that makes them feel a knot of angst is fair game. They'll not know whether I'm serious, but the little doubt in their mind is what will pain them.
