La Liga want Man City investigation

There's evidence that Etihad, certainly in the early days of the deal, got the money for our sponsorship directly from the Executive Council.
They were getting everything bankrolled back then as they were still in start up mode and losing money on a p&l basis, they've justified it since.

Same with ManUre; Gulf Oil International..... But they earned their money through football didn't they? However we actually earned more on the pitch than they did! :-)

Despite their "three titles".

Does anyone ever complain that Stoke and Leicester's main sponsors are owned by the clubs' owners? Thought not.

This list is a genuine news story which shatters a lot of myths about how football clubs are really bankrolled and destroys the claims that somehow we "don't earn our income." I wonder why it has never been covered properly in the mainstream media. The only angle that came out of Soccerex was the La Liga plea to investigate City's finances. Why didn't Simon Mullock use this material in the Mirror for example?

Ah but in normal times they don't really threaten the big boys. It takes a lot of incompetence elsewhere AND the arrival of a number of excellent players for not very much money for a club like Leicester to win the title.
