International Matches | November 9th - 16th

That's the problem with English football...it's all about effort and energy and fuck all about skill and possession.
If that would have been a competitive game I'm sure Brazil could have upped their game whereas England couldn't.
England will get to quarter finals if they get lucky...no chance of winning it
It is a bit worrying that Brazil playing at about 60% is still far too high a tempo for any of our midfielders to handle.

Merlin only did light training yesterday and didn't play today - looks like he picked up a knock at the weekend. Was an unused sub though.

If that had been a competitive game we’d have a lot more first team regulars, instead we had a youth team play pretty well and create chances against Brazil.
Let’s face it, doesn’t matter who players are, who the manager is and even our performances - they’re always going to get slagged off - it’s our English mentality

Can see we are going to be one Silva and a Kun down for the weekend.
A year ago this would have been tragic but now we can probably cope with that in the short term.
Friendlies should be banned. You win nothing and you learn nothing whilst players pick up injuries. GET RID OF THEM!!

It's the opposite.

Too many people accept this fucking shite year in year out & we just rinse & repeat because it's all important to win a few meaningless victories or draws, rather than ever building a football team. All the shite about Rashford tonight is also typical, running up his own fucking arse & accomplishing nothing.

We should demand an English team that plays football & if it can one day win a trophy, great.

We brought on Ashley fucking Young. If Rooney hadn't retired he would have a shot of playing in Russia.

It's fucking pathetic.
