We had a very young and inexperienced side out against a strong looking Brazilian line up - thought especially second half we created chances and could have grabbed it at the end, was a good energetic display.
It was classic Norway but without the big striker. But he'll be back soon.

Merlin only did light training yesterday and didn't play today - looks like he picked up a knock at the weekend. Was an unused sub though.

That's the problem with English football...it's all about effort and energy and fuck all about skill and possession.
If that would have been a competitive game I'm sure Brazil could have upped their game whereas England couldn't.
England will get to quarter finals if they get lucky...no chance of winning it
If that had been a competitive game we’d have a lot more first team regulars, instead we had a youth team play pretty well and create chances against Brazil.

Too many people accept this fucking shite year in year out & we just rinse & repeat because it's all important to win a few meaningless victories or draws, rather than ever building a football team. All the shite about Rashford tonight is also typical, running up his own fucking arse & accomplishing nothing.
We should demand an English team that plays football & if it can one day win a trophy, great.
