He said he would let me know the day he signs, nothing yet. I'm confident it will happen [emoji1303]. Being 10 years at the club is very important to him...mainly because I joked with him last year that he wouldn't be viewed as a legend like Mr Bell until he had been at the club for 10 years.

He sent me a link to the Napoli pre match presser straight after it with just a [emoji6] as he made a point of stating 10 years during it for my benefit. He has both a sense of humour and a very good memory.

This sentimental fool will definitely shed a tear if he is granted a testimonial game...fingers crossed.

One of his best performances in a while for me. Could of scored a few goals but none the less was perfect in possession and created a lot.
 
If he could shoot, he would be unplayable. The only criticism that I have from an otherwise excellent player. The number of opportunities he has per game to score and his low conversion rate is surprising for a player of his quality.
 
Played for us & Spain this week with a right pain in the neck.
Don't worry he knows he should've bagged 2 or 3 today.
He also knows that was a dangerous game out the way & we just need to keep the foot on the accelerator.
He's gutted for Stones too.

Some of his passing and control today was in my very biased opinion sublime.
The first goal was made to look more fantastic with David deciding to pass to Gabriel when I guess in those situations most City fans are shouting at him to shoot. That's not a dig I just thought it summed his mentality and style of play.

Silva is one our all time consistent players I have seen, his levels stays the same we now just expect these high performance games from him.

Pass on my man love! He was brilliant. Love the fact that when you post he is still hard on himself. Sign of a humble man and the reason he is as good as he is!

Good to see you posting. This has to be David’s best season so far imo. He has been completely brilliant.
