Rojo no second yellow for the pen. Remember that.
Lukaku escapes a ban. Remember that.
Walker second yellow . Remember that.
Keep these last two matches for utd in mind when we get a dodgy yellow in the next two games.
It's happening.
We can't complain to much with decisions lately. That Kompany possible red was a big one we dodged. Although how Lukaku never got banned I'll never know.

There was an admiring article about David Silva by James Ducker in the Telegraph the other day, talking about his courage and skill and how Guardiola loves him. Not posted the link but the piece is still there.

Only being nice about our Dave cos he’s off to Liverpool at Christmas!

Yeah we touched lucky with the kompany tackle, was a red all day.

This appears to be the general consensus now, when mentioned by pundits it is considered an absolute nailed on red card , at the time of the incident it was 50/50 , the fact John Stones who is a rather quick player was 2 or 3 yards away from Vardy when Vinnie scythed him down is now ignored. With my blue tinted specs i will go with the narrative that with Stones so close , Vardy 35 yards from goal and a keeper who's forte is seeing danger anywhere within 50 yards of his goal , is that it was 50/50 ,the referee gave VK the benefit of the doubt, and after the Walker and Sterling sendings off , maybe we were due a bit of luck

Stones "rather quick", lol. Like hell he'd catch Vardy in a foot race, doesn't matter if Ederson came out it's still a chance for Vardy to score.

Personally I thought it was on a par with the Ake challenge on gabby and I was screaming at the ref for a red when it happened. Then Mike Dean had a brainfart and sent raheem off.

Put it one way mate, if it had happened to us and say smalling hacked down Sergio we'd be fucking livid if only a yellow was shown.

I'm fairly sure this place would of erupted and not many coming on saying correct decision.

Smalling-->Aguero comparison is beside the point. Football is the game refereed according to the rules of law and not according to devotion and emotions of football supporters. Kompany was not the last man, because Stones was in-line a few yards away, therefore a yellow only.

The big difference with the Ake challenge was that there wasn't another Bournemouth defender within 20 yards of him. That was a sending off all day long. Stones however was barely 5 yards away from Vardy and whilst I doubt he'd have caught him, he was close enough to put legitimate doubt in the ref's mind

It should have been a red. No way stones was going to catch vardy, he was a good few meters away from him.

When you look at the incident which is right at the start of the highlights, you can see where the ref is positioned and that he can see Stones,Vardy and Kompany all pretty much in a line
I don't think it was a nailed on red, but I think we got lucky as it was
1- the ref's first PL game
2- only a couple of minutes in
3- The ref will have seen Stones was level with Vardy

Well i guess opinions differ on here wether it was a red or not. Personally I think we got away with one. And I'll take it.
