hopping down a touchline in the heat of the momment in passionate celebration isn't.

Daft and human maybe, hopefully it won't affect his recovery.
 
I don't get the negative comments. True passion. If it causes more problems then tough.
I have to admit leaping off the couch yelling my head off. I haven't done that since "Aguerooooooo".
I had already missed the start of the match due to work and was really pissed off that we were going to drop points right before the derby.

Then Sterling did his thing.

Problem was that i was so pumped afterwards, that i have been up most of the night!

This guy must be amazing for morale in the dressing room. Big player for us even if he’s not playing.

This squad looks so together.

Can’t wait to see him back on the pitch.

I imagine pep will confiscate his phone today though
 
Don't know whether to laugh or cry. He is brilliant though and although it probably wasn't the wisest thing to do, he has clearly had an amazing impact on the atmosphere around the squad and that's because he's fucking nuts and does stuff like this. So you just have to go with it and enjoy it.
 
Bland and boring he isn't, shows he cares, just need him fit asap, brilliant for moral, the sport needs the occasional lunatic.

Spot on Blu1. I don’t think Mendy could have done anymore for the team even if he had been playing. His impact on morale has been outstanding
 
absolutely love him, but he should not be hobbling down the wing, and involved in a big pile on. He's a multi-million ££ investment. Love his passion though, he could have had a major setback. I'm guessing he got a bollocking today

Got to be honest, I would have thought Mendy would have a newer phone in this day and age....
