A few overreactions in this thread after the game, saying he is finished. I have rewatched his last two games. Vs Leicester he was fine apart from the tackle on Vardy. Yesterday wasnt a great performance, but isnt he allowed to have an off game having played brilliant in almost every game the last 7 years? And this myth that he is a poor passer is nothing but that, a myth. Obviously Stones is our best ball playing CB, but Vinnys passing is really underestimated among some of our fans.
well his passing gave me heart failure last night....how many times was he so so close to getting it intercepted in key areas. You cant keep doing that and not get picked off sooner or later.
I presume saving him for Sunday.Anyone know what his current issue is?
Pep saying he was not available to play today.
I agree, I think it is all smoke and mirrors. We have seen how Vinnie views the derby and he will be buzzing and making sure all the newbies are too. Bring it on raggiesHe will be up for this Sunday, the game he looks forward to the most, and will lead us to victory v them.....again
Is he actually injured? Last thing we need is Vinny out again.
I’d agree Fernandinho to CB if Vinny’s injures. I might be tempted to put Gundogan in midfield because I think they’ll man mark Silva and KDB.according to various sources VK is doubtful , if that is the case i would move Dinho to centre back , i know we lack height but Mangala is not suited to our football playing out from the back and will also make mistakes , and would rather have a 80% fit Vinny than risk Mangala.
Yeah, I like Tosin's height, pace and tackle. Not so much his touch though. Not just yet.I'd stick tosin in there, he's got to spread his wings one day and I thought he did alright in shakhtar. Tall, got a good turn of pace and a great touch. Throw him in I'd say, it's obvious vinnie isn't 100%.
