The same reason they did not arrest Cantona on the spot at Selhurst Park for assault. If I'd have been a copper there he'd have been put in cuffs and taken to the station in his kit.
I have to say, even as a lifelong City fan, and genuine hater of United, I would have knighted Cantona for battering and publicly humiliating that hateful racist wanker at palace.

So apparently the anti-City MUFC propaganda committee instructed Jose to deflect from the comprehensive derby defeat by referring to us as 'Diver City' at every opportunity.
