Spurs (H) Post Match Thread

Kane and Alle are just lazy brainless thugs allowed to roam on the field by the refs when they had no business being there after trying their best to injure others.

Weren't so vocal when I left the Etihad yesterday were they? Knobheads. Cocky twats. Take that back to London and shit yourselves about finishing in the top four.

I really like that NBC commentary team, they can be pretty funny too. I also like the studio pundits surprisingly. They do a good job.
Yeah I like them more than TSN or Sportsnet, which is what I get here.

On a diff topic, anyone see/ know more about this : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...tacked-racially-abused-ahead-manchester-city/ ??????
2 goals and another good game for him. too bad there are POS like this hanging around trying (but not succeeding) to through him off his game.

Milky Edy will train harder next week after that goal.
I got the train down to London with loads of Spuds and it felt like we'd just dicked Cockfosters FC.. they've resigned. I had to bring up Ricky Villa to cheer them up.

Possibly sweetest win this season for me. I have been brought up not having space for hatred in my heart, however hard to imagine how nasty those punch of players and fans are! Aiming to harm, breathing hatred agains us is way too much! I do not recall rags were as devilish on the lasy derby. Sick flock of creatures really.

Spurs, one of two capable of taking the game to us.
No Silva? Feared the worst. Was consoling myself with, well, still 8 clear.
What a thrilling example of fire and ice.
We totally outgrafted them, pure pace up front.
Gundogan, ran KDB close for man of the match.
Lots of missed chances, but, it doesn't get much better than this.
On a side note, those two challenges, he can't have seen them, or he would've red carded. Will the FA retrospectively take action?
Didn't Mario get yellowed once and then banned?

A passing Aston Villa fan here. It was my first chance to watch a full City match this season yesterday and I was in awe! Football at its best and I honestly cannot state who is going to stop the City train at the moment. Tottenham employed dirty, dirty tactics and it just seemed to spur you on. Will be following you more closely now and hoping and believing you’ll get a full house this year. Birmingham is rife with United fans and it’ll be fantastic seeing their reaction to that! Going off topic a bit here but I celebrated THAT Aguero goal like Villa had just won the Prem. My favour for Man City is maybe a little bit born out of hatred from them, but also because reading your forum you guys seem a humble bunch, who know that you’re making history thanks to the investment, as opposed to the arrogance of the red side of Manchester. Good luck to City! Your dynasty is here!!!

well just managed to watch the highlights on the city os, i was keeping tabs on an app at work ,and it seemed a fairly even game(on my app) going off possession ,we were ahead on shots but it seemed it was a tight game,i tried to stay up for match of the day but fell asleep and woke up near the end of it :) well I had just done a 14.5 hour shift in the freezing cold of Manchester airport :)hahaha fuck me after watching the highlights I couldn't be more wrong :) looked like we completely dominated what I would call a very good team,as for those 2 tackles fuck me how were they not red cards.

The motd repeat is on in 15 minutes.

Dirty c***ts ........ just like when they knew they had lost the title at Stamford bridge and we’re flying in with the boot.

Incredible win and performance. Much was said about spurs pressing and whether we would cope. In fact we pressed them and they couldn't. Gundogan was class. I have always said that when fit he is by far the best central midfielder in the league. I am probably wrong now because De Bruyne has been turned into one and was again outstanding.

Considering we had half our first choice defence available we kept Kane
very quiet bar a couple of shots. At the other end we were ripping them apart. 6-1 wouldn’t have flattered us.

It’s great to see Foden getting minutes and building his confidence.

What a brilliant game of football. Spurs fans will be happier than the rag scum last week because they had the guts to have a go at us, I don’t think anyone can moan when both teams give everything to win.

As for us, KDB possibly had the best game he’s ever had for us. In fact I’d go as far as saying that’s probably the best individual performance of any player I’ve ever seen at 34 years old. It had absolutely everything - his work rate is just phenomenal, he wins tackles, he closes people down as well as anyone, he tracks runners and his attitude just inspires the rest of his teammates. When you add his talent to the mix, his assists and goals and his ability to completely dominate games we surely have the best player in the world on our hands at the moment.

Special mentions to Mangala and Gundogan too. Mangala isn’t technically good enough we all know that but he deserves our full backing because he gives everything he’s got in every game. Gundogan is just pure class, he really looks like he’s getting his mojo back. He’s just one of those players you happily pay to watch, he’s not a Hollywood highlights reel player but just someone genuine football fans really appreciate.
