I wonder how many of the 30k posts in this thread have been dedicated to this exact line of questioning.
Good grief. Have you read that many posts in every thread?? You’re a star. What was the answer to my question??

Wenger now wants Kompany
I think you'll find this a misquote based on someone overhearing his phone call to a rent boy service
PmslHas been crap this season and I don't think it's purely down to not being bothered playing for Arsenal anymore. With his style of play and how much football he's played last few years it wouldn't be surprising if last season was his peak and he'll never get near it again. Was always strange that Guardiola was so keen on him considering he flopped under him at Barcelona. Much better, younger options Mahrez, Insigne, Redmond etc
Van dijk ???Doubt it will be January as things stand, Pep wants to spend big in other areas.
Van dijk ???
So for who Pep want to spend big Tolm??Unless we bite the bullet or Southampton have dropped their valuation, which seems highly unlikely?
Arsenal the real losers.
Expecting two new faces.

Redmond is shite. Sanchez at his all-time worst is still far better than peak Redmond.Has been crap this season and I don't think it's purely down to not being bothered playing for Arsenal anymore. LB and a CB? or CB and a Forward?
I do think Delph has done enough to convince Pep that he has the technical capacity to cover Fernandinho in midfield.
For that reason, I suspect it will be a left-back and central defender (possibly Evans).
I really hope we go for something a little more long term than Evans. Need that long term partnership to start with Stones ASAP.
But thatll be awesome if we get a LB and CB - i think its our only 2 weaknesses while Sanchez is more of a luxury with our current attack.
Don't we have it already?
Stones and Otamendi is an absolutely outstanding partnership.
I think Evans stands somewhat in contradiction to your other statement about spending big. I also seem to remember a Pep quote of buying players who will stay for years. Putting 2 and 2 together I hope this means we will look to buy the real thing only and not stop gap solutions (like I think Evans will be).I do think Delph has done enough to convince Pep that he has the technical capacity to cover Fernandinho in midfield.
