If we do sign him in Jan I hope it's not until the last day of Jan, get in early and get it done like Liverpool have done with VVD

It all depends on if Arsenal can get a replacement.

I think we will sign him in January, but it will be after Arsenal bring in a replacement.

This is where we need @GDM's negotiating techniques manual.

Offer to pay them 10 mil on the proviso that he starts on the 1st otherwise see you in the summer.

Be interesting to see if Arse and rags try work a deal now them fuckers will be desperate for a saviour.
taking off my blue tinted glasses if I was Arsenal I would try hard to not sell him to anyone in England, but even more so not the rags because they are direct rivals Arsenal aren't catching us so it basically comes down to 3 places in the champions league 5 teams

will be nothing like 50m
More like 15 mill tops or Sanchez will just sit it out what 18 weeks and agree to come for nothing and a 12 million golden handshake plus excellent wages....Alexis holds every card . Can't believe how badly gunners have screwed this up

I hear ya, but we've been here before with Van rapist. They aren't above spiting themselves.

Despite Wenger’s very public “no surrender” stance, Didn’t they sack somebody, (on Arse’s financial side of of the club), for incompetence, shortly after it all went tits up last time?

Personally I am not sure about Sanchez. A player who throws his toys out of the pram because everything isn’t going his/his teams way??. I have to question his professionalism. OK. .....he’s going to come “cheap” by way of contract etc. etc. ...... but what happens if (and this is a big IF) things don’t work out for him at City? (Player rotation for example). I just don’t like the thought of having a bad apple in the squad.( and I get the feeling he could be?) Our current squad seems relatively settled. I believe City should look further ahead..........there must be younger, raw talent out there?....look to the future!

In Barcelona of the era Pep Alexis rotated with Pedro, I see no problem in that. Anyone with ambitions to win would be frustrated playing for Arsene FC.
Most likely, the Arsenal try not to let go without a replacement (Lemar-Mahres-Zaha), especially considering what happens with Ozil. But an unmotivated Alexis does not serve them for the objective of the 4th place, they need to improve in defense.

PS. What about this ?
> Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero planning to return to his first club Independiente earlier than planned http://dailym.ai/2locLpK

Well, and maybe Sergio puts his "plans" on ice for some time
after some brilliant games of

.......KDB........David
Raz.......Sergio......Sanchez

Who knows.

Can we sign a deal in january and then loan him back to the Tarquins for the rest of the season with the proviso he can't play against us but has to guarantee to put some effort in (and score) against the Rags, Spuds, Rent Boys and Scousers?

Pep has managed Sanchez before so he knows his character, Sanchez has been managed by Pep before so he knows what to expect from Pep, do people really think that since the summer City/Pep and Sanchez/agent haven't had talks about how to proceed? Do we really think that Pep would spend all this time developing an incredible team/club spirit and then bring in a character that could destroy it ? Sanchez has one opportunity left in his career to make the right move for medals and honours, and he seems to have identified City as that opportunity, as has Pep identified him as an asset that City can utalise in the future, to me that sounds like a pretty good combination .

We’ve been that dominant this season that none of these teams have any importance to us anymore.
They all have their own little battle to fight for a top 4 spot.
