These things go in cycles and where as the city of a few years ago were sitting on there hands taking the moral high ground, the city of now will be insisting on an audience with the refs boss and highlighting the recent horrendous tackles.
It wasnt long ago this season we were commenting that refs are being fairer with us after a spate of shitty decisions.

Incompitemce , shit refereeing YES! Corruption... not really

He was conned and couldnt see the difference! Im defending fuckin no one by the way!
By not being good enough at his job he couldnt tell the difference. So hes just shite at his job.

You are defending Moss, you’re defending his blatant cheating and labelling it ‘incompetence’ which it cannot possibly be.

To give a penalty the referee has to 100% see a push, pull or trip by Sterling and none of that happened. You cannot give a penalty just because a player goes down in the box. You have to see an offence committed and there simply wasn’t one, just like Walker didn’t touch the Everton player earlier in the season.

It’s cheating plain and simple so stop pretending to yourself the game isn’t riddled because it is.

Give over, the cheating fat cûnt couldn’t wait to give it, just like the non-penalty for Gray at Leicester.
The worst part about that, he wasn't even done for diving after the game.
Now if that was a City player...we know the answer.
We've got Shitty end of the stick since the takeover, retrospective action happens on a constant basis against us, adebayor against Arsenal, he got a yellow during the game, but ref decides after the game he didn't see it properly, 3 match ban, Sergio against West Ham...
Now take Kane and divey Ali, both disgraceful challenges, nothing done during or after the game.
We get trial by media, where as everyone else's hardly get a mention.
We don't need special treatment, but it would be nice to get the same treatment everyone else gets.

Danny Murphy on match of the day suggested players should be in City's face more a couple of weeks ago. Since then...

Spurs (H) 17th Dec
[1] Just before half time, a stamp by Deli Ali onto Fernandinho's ankle. Red card for dangerous play any day of the week. How Fernandinho didn't get a ligament injury is beyond me. Not even a yellow card and not refereed. to the panel.
[2] A leg breaker by Kane on Sterling. Should have been a straight red. Quite how the referee only gave a yellow is beyond me. Should have bee a 3 match ban for a reckless challenge. Interestingly Kane would not have gotten past Shearers record if the ref had given the correct decision.
[3] The shocking challenge by Deli Ali on Kevin De Bruyne. Horrible challenge. Should have been a straight red and a three match ban. Quite how the referee only gave a yellow for it is beyond me.

Newcastle (A) 27th Dec
[4] Murphy lands his studs on Gundogan's calf. A Horrible challenge. Should have been a straight red. No foul given and not referred to the panel.

Crystal Palace (A) 31st December
[5] Dan slides in and tries to take Kevin De Bryne's knee away. A shocking challenge that only looks worse on review. Dan sustained an injury tucking his own leg under his body but shouldn't have been given the option of being substituted - it was a red card any day of the week.
[6] Puncheon attempts to finish Kevin De Bruynes season with a dreadful challenge. Thank goodness Kevin was knocked up in the air by the challenge if Puncheon had goon over the top of Kevin's leg his season would have been over. The video of Puncheon watching Kevin during the run up to the penalty is illuminating. The red mist has come down and he is clearly after Kevin. Quite how the referee could only give a yellow for that is beyond me.

Non of the above were referred to a panel and all were deliberate fouls that actually were horrible challenges as well. Teams and Players have decided that taking City players out is the only way and referees have decided it's OK.

Craig Burley and the ESPN pundits have it spot on. It's intentional.

Pep is justifiably seething about it even though he was reasonably calm about it when interviewed. I hope Danny Murphy is happy about the results.

I sway between thinking they're bent and incompetent. It does look dodgy when they see things that didn't happen. Moss started today with the corner that wasn't when he adjudged the ball to have come off Walker, leading to 5 mins of Palace pressure, and ended with the farcical penalty. I think this cnuts problem is that he referees with his ears rather than his eyes.

Shall i keep repeating im defending nobody? Would that help?

We’re on the same side so chill out.

Im sorry , no, i dont believe there is actual corruption in the game. Every other fan of every other club thinks theyre hard done too.

Its just shite refs. The game is riddled with shite refs.

Im sorry i dont share your views. I just dont believe theres institutionalised corruption.

But hey, we’re top of the league by 14 points and over the half way line and when we win it in may all this will add to the satisfaction i , we’ll , feel.

Up the blues

It's quite frankly astounding that not one of those challenges, Ali, Kane, Murphy and Puncheon led to a red card.
I agree. I also get (but don’t agree with) the fact that Kane, Ali and Puncheon were yellow carded so retrospective action was / could not be taken but I was shocked that no action was subsequently taken against Murphy for his tackle on Gundogan,

If Moss can give a corner to Palace when it clearly never touched Walker then he can give a penalty to palace when Sterling never touched Zaha.

When Delle Alli stamped on KDB in clear view of ref it was not bad refereeing to ignore it but an attempt to protect Delle Alli, an English talent. Same was the case with Kane.

When Puncheon took out KDB without even trying to play the ball and just got a yellow - it is clear a message being sent to the league it is OK to break a leg of Man City players, it would make the league more competitive and financially better.

This message being sent through refs will eventually result in someone suffering season or career ending injury. Deliberately ignoring these challenges is not bad refereeing or incompetence - it is corruption.

The incompetence as regards to giving the pen and not aending off that nobody who crocked KDB is just that, incompetence by the fat useless twat.
But him deciding jesus didnt need a physio when he clearly did stunk of bitterness and agenda driven hatred. He should be taken to task on that if nothing else
Do you not see a pattern? Did he show any incompetence in our favour?

Nailed it .

Part of me wants to believe there is corruption. It would certainly explain a lot. But i dont buy that it is im afraid and just think its utter incomptetence by a referee who is not up to the job and is swayed by a partisan crowd and whos bottle went a bit.

If it comes out that the game is riddled ill be the first to apologise to you all.

Lets win it regardless of it

No mate. What about you?
I'm not buying that the refs are still trying to stop us. As i said they'd of let the ****s win yesterday if that was the case.

Even you and frank might get a little bit suspicious if a referee heads one in at the back post for them.
