Seeing the tough schedule and dirty opponents taking their toll on our players, should we down-prioritise the FA Cup totally, considering we still have a good chance at a domestic double and maybe even a better shout than ever at the CL title? Wouldn’t mind seeing a total 2nd string formation against Burnley personally.

Nah, we’ve got a chance to make history. We shouldn’t play our best team but we shouldn’t throw it either like Pellegrini did against Chelsea. With the schedule, we’ll probably play a weakened team against Bristol at home allowing us to play a strong team against Burnley and still give the players 8 days to recover before Liverpool

To be honest, the FA, the EFL, Premier League, Sky and BT need to come together and work out a solution for what’s best overall for football in this country, because we’re seeing good players struggling with fatigue and injuries and managers having to make so many changes that the quality of football is dropping and the things that used to make English football so marketable, goals, are becoming hard to come by for a lot of clubs. It’s time to stop this ridiculous Christmas schedule, time to bin the EFL cup and give players a chance to get through a season playing their best throughout

God I hate this mentality. Its not like we have a 700 million pound squad.....

No, absolutely fucking not. Rag behaviour.

To be honest it's not because they always play strongish sides.

The biggest risk we have at the moment is the one striker issue. Playing Aguero in these cup games is risky before we sign someone but we have no choice.

The points lead gives us some leeway though.

I would expect strongish sides in both cup games.

Bravo,
Danilo
Kompany
Mangala
Zinchenko
Silva B
Toure
Gundogan
Sterling
Diaz
Sane

Maybe with Sterling or Sane playing up top may be an option.
