Has everyone given up now?

I don't think it's a case of giving up. They all still have a a lot to play for. We are just too good for everyone currently. I can certainly see some of the teams not involved at the top prioritising when they come to us. Resting players on high bookings, not running their arses off when they have a game a couple of days later. The Huddersfield effort won't be lost on many of those managers at the bottom. Worked their nuts off to get nothing and then get hammered next game. Southampton similar. Poor performance at Bournemouth straight after our game.

I know it's early and hard to predict but for me we need 38 points from 20 games for the title.

I can't see anymore than that being needed.

That's the equivalent of

11 wins 5 draws and 4 defeats from here.

We have lots of leeway now.

remarkable stuff and not one win is undeserved despite some late winners.
 
If you go two three nil down you try and get back into the game, if you have not given up. If you have given up you go for damage limitation. We are seeing the latter, teams have given up.
 
They may as well, we are not blowing a 15 point lead.

It's not so much of us blowing a 15 point lead, it's the chasing teams drawing games. Last nights game was a good result for us. And rags drawing 3 over Christmas has hindered their chance to close the gap. As long as we Keep winning, we can allow for ourselves to draw and even lose now and again. I'd take a point at Liverpool right now TBH.

I agree, nothing would make me and every other blue happier mate. We are long overdue a league win there but it's been a graveyard for us and that's why I'd take a draw.

Win at loserpool and I am off for my champions 2018 city tattoo.
We're certainly due a win there.

Setting aside the fact you need to do the same thing to get top 4 as win the league, IE, win more games than your competition, and thus you can't really give up on one without the other, I would imagine that our nearest rivals are spending much more time looking around and down than up.

Going to be piss funny when we lose a game and the headlines "TITLE RACE BACK ON?!" drown the back pages, and we still win it by 12 points.
 
I think we will win the league by 20 points or over.

I do not see the others going on winning runs. Does anyone really expect them to do what we have as the season is coming to an end. Some of their players will have an eye on the world cup. Tiredness creeps in. Lesser teams put a shift in. Top 4 a big issue as they beat each other.

The above can be said for us also but I believe we have more professionalism.
 
I've seen a couple of the Rags and Chelsea games over Christmas and there is nothing to suggest either team can go on a run that is long enough to put us under any pressure.
 
I've not given up, I think we're really in with a chance now.......
