They just got hammered by Aston Villa and Watford so they'll be happy with a 1-0 defeat in the hope of a come back at home. Going to try to park the bus more than any other team this season. City 4-0, at half-time.

Go as strong as possible, get it won nice and early so no way back for them second leg. They are a little off form having only won one since beating Utd and conceded 11, 8 in the last two games.

Our only rivals for the league, a far better side than Bristol and one game only so no second chance.
I also think its by far the most difficult league game we have left.
They arent even nearly our rival for the league, 18 points behind us.

They can only reach 92 points, we can afford to drop 17 and still finish above them

not our closest rivals, and just got considerably weaker losing Coutinho.

Bravo
Walker
Delph
Tosin
Mangala
Toure
B Silva
Gundogan
Diaz
De Bruyne
Sterling

We should be able to beat Bristol City over 2 legs whichever side we put out

Strongest team possible. Build up a nice lead. Take the big guns off. Play the kids in the second leg with an unassailable lead

Easy this management lark

Didnt explain myself very well. The only team that could...could threaten us is liverpool. Win at anfield and that is done and dusted and we can start to rest big players in the league whenever we want. I should add that liverpool have given us a lot of pain down the decades and winning at liverpool is probably the last hill to conquer.

I think you could be right on it there. They will no doubt have a mandatory back 5 increasing to 9 when we are 30 yards from goal. If we can break them down early, then rest the big guns. Would like to see Diaz in this game.
Not sure if Yaya has the legs any longer. Do we risk it?
