Samir Nasri

Good luck to Nasri if he does sign for Tigres and if it is the move kick-starts his career then fair play, but it seem not the most logical of choices.
Why? Maybe he doesn't want to kick start his career anymore? Perhaps he's happy playing up to 60-70% of his potential in a warm climate, making a good, not astronomical, and being a star.

Mexican League is not the worst of leagues in terms of lifestyle, but I think he can still do a job in a Europe.

He’s never going hit the heights again, and if he thinks he is going into semi-retirement in the Mexican League, he has another think coming. However, he would struggle to find a better place for an excellent quality of inexpensive life. However, most Brits think of Mexico as all beaches and tequila, but Tigres is a long loooong way from the beach!!!

Not near the beach but, imo, Monterrey is beautiful! Mexican teams usually defend pretty well.

Samir Nasri's Antalyaspor contract has been torn up just half a season after he joined them from City. He's now a free agent...

so turning down pep has worked out well then
