This is totally beside the point and off topic but I liked Fernando.
He was nowhere near good enough for City, which is why we got shut of him.

Absolutely spot on and couldn't agree more.
De Bruyne has sell on value, would you want us to sell him and get triple what we paid for him? Not a chance. You only sell players you want to sell, not your best players that win you things.
Agree with the rest but Lescott, Nastasic & Mangala aren't that different ability wise. Lescott was the best of the three but the amount of goals we gave away from throw ins because he couldn't pass and just smashed it into the stands was ridiculous.
You really think United would win more points than us between now and mid May just because they sign Sanchez?Put it this way, Sanchez in United's team would certainly get them closer to us before the season ends.

Think the problem with Mangala was , the club though they were buying the next Kompany, Mangala size and strength. Remember the game against West Ham at their place and he was ripped apart. It didn't help having the fullback 30 yards upfield and not covering the winger, think it was Clichy. Every time West Ham broke, Mangala had to defend 2 on 1 so which ever decision he made was the wrong one. Don,t think he ever recovered and you can see that he doesn't fit into Peps possession football.Even though his passing has improved, he doesn't seem as composed when he is closed down.Lescott wasn't brilliant at all, but at least he could defend. Mangala literally looks like he is about to fall over every time he passes a football.
Nastasic was a talent I thought. Just didn't get much of an opportunity under Pellegrini.
The point I am making is, for the money we spent on Mangala in comparison to the other 2, we didn't upgrade whatsoever.
This is why I want Sanchez in the door even if we have to be dragged out of our comfort zone financially. Players as good as Sanchez don't come around very often for such a bargain price.
Anyone know where the Sanchez thread went to?Think the problem with Mangala was , the club though they were buying the next Kompany, Mangala size and strength. A little like Manure when they won 13 titles under Fergie.
Agreed and the pressure will all fall on Mou if he signs for them and if it fails to get them more competitive the hierarchy will reach the conclusion Mou is part of the problem not part of the solution.

I didn't say we had to bend over for Arsenal and pay what they want, but if it comes down to the ultimatum that Sanchez is definitely going in Jan and his only option is Utd who are offering what the club and the player demands, then yes I would pay the demands and bite the bullet.
I don't want them bastards over the road getting anyone as good as Sanchez. I want him here at City so we can guarantee another couple of premier league titles in the bag.
Top two trending things on Sky Sports News - Mickymouse 'swap' for Sanchez to United makes sense and Cole backs Sanchez to United. Only mention of us 'City 'baulk' at fee.
Not a hint of bias there obviously......
I wasn’t arguing about downgrading, I was pointing out your error when you said.We went from De Jong, to Javi Garcia, to Fernando. We downgraded.
We went from Tevez, to Jovetic, to Bony. We downgraded.
You get the jist of it.
I simply pointed out “Pellegrini” didn’t sell De Jong, he left one whole season before he arrived. You could’ve just held your hands up and admitted your error.City went backwards under Pellegrini and sold good players such as Tevez and De Jong for example and then brought in the likes of Bony and Fernando.
Fuck me Dwight father of the year Yorke the answer to a question nobody asked. He has spoken...........he that is the football oracle.
