What do agents actually do to earn major money? A good player is a good player. Other than asking lawyers to ensure that the deal is the best for the player I can't see what the agent does.

Can they say that with a straight face? Everyone knows what Pogbad's agent made. Which is exactly why Sanchez' agent will be looking for that much off them if that article is correct. Yet some people believe we should match what they offer...

I would be gutted if we didn't end up landing him....think he would thrive in our system. Just pay the 30 or 35mil they want....can' risk losing out to rags for the sake of 10 mil...sigurdsson went for 50 mil...where else do you get a world class player for 30 odd mil these days? I can't see Mourinho coming out with that yesterday if there wasn't. As I've said in a previous post we are right to walk away from this.
