I thought we'd agreed a salary with Sanchez?
my thoughts all along, we have been constantly told all had been agreed with player and his cohorts, so if he's shit on us for for a few more mil to the millions he already has, then he can do one

Alright Stalin, if you don't like it don't read it.He will be playing in a red shirt. Close this thread
Could it be that Arsenal via Cross are saying he has had his head turned by the rags to try and get us to pay up? Just putting it out there...
That would be the 1.6 million quid a month in his pocket.
Nah. TBH I suspect we will lose today but I still wouldn't want us to blow our pay structure to bits for a 29 year old who has been in poor form. If we get him on our terms then great, let's see how much he adds to our team. But if united get him on 400k a week I am fine with that. They have plenty of decent players already and they're still no great shakes, I genuinely don't see throwing one more in to the mix being a game changer, especially when we know that in an ideal world he'd rather be playing for Pep.I suspect the result of the Liverpool game later will change people's opinions on this one way or another.
It dosnt necessarily follow like that. It's not worth ruining or wage structure and possibly having some very unhappy players on our hands. Sterling needs to renew soon, imagine how much we would have to pay him if we gave Sanchez 400k p.w.
Who at the guardian? Was it another Arsenal mouthpiece? Not just Cross, the Guardian broke it earlier.
I'm with you on this Ric....we got to always be one step ahead of the pack, if we want to stay on top. Very rare a forward of his talent becomes available for such a low price! Feeling like Alves all over again. Genuine question....Do you feel we got "too" confident in this transfer? Expecting the "Pep factor" to trump the money on offer. Feels like we tried to get to clever thinking he coming on a free and allowed Rags to jump ahead (if rumours are true!)

It absolutely does. Sterling is our top scorer, he's young and very marketable. He would be well within his rights to ask to be right up there with Sanchez. Jesus and Sane too.It dosnt necessarily follow like that.

We are always quiet on transfers. We never give a running commentary, or make announcements unless and until a player signs for us. You won't hear s peep from City. It's how we do things these days. The question is, why are we so quiet?
Fcukinell mate. The Mersey will be clogged up with bodies if we lose!
