Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread.

Keeping it positive: yes we lost today but somehow we scored 3. We should bounce back from this. Scoring 3 goals whilst playing that shit shows we will not let this defeat affect us. O
Onto the next game.
 
Think the difference in rest time really showed today, still we kept going.
Not a great performance but plenty of hits on display.
 
A bad 5 minutes cost us and overall I thought we were awful today.

Pschologically and physically hit the brick wall today after just too many 3 game weeks.

At least we have a week off now.

If I was Pep I would have them go to Dubai for a few days.
 
That will do fair result in the end at least we turned around and showed how lucky they were with three goals in eight minutes.

We have to have another option than playing it out the back when we're nervous.

Soooo glad it wasn't 4 or 5 -1. That would have been a major spanner in the season.

Next games are easier and I am confident we will still win the league without Liverpool pushing it too close, they are on form and I could have seen them going all season without losing if they had well and truly beaten us today.

All is good.

Pity Aguero didn’t stay onside at the end becaus think he may still have to the header in. On mistake for me is playing Sterling at Anfield, he’s proven he doesn’t play well with all the boo boys alhough he did better this time.

Coutinho gone, Karius in goal and no VVD. Insane performance.

The end put a bitter taste in my mouth, but I think it was because we were knackered after that lightning spell.

Klopps building something with us, and we’ve got to keep him.

Agueros best days are behind him

Gundogan and Danillo will never be good enough for us. Too slow, go missing and their passing is awful.
 
defence couldnt cope with pressure, a lose is a lose. we will need to sort ourselves out after this mess. no doubting pep will be doing his nut in dressing room, handing out some deserved bollockings
 
Defense collectively had a shocker. Good fight back by the team but difference was david silva. So many times we got into good positions and wasted it. Plus he really helps beating the press. Should have been introduced as a sub because we wernt good in first half either
 
3 individual errors lost it.

The team fought back and nearly got a point.

Happy with the way we came back collectively. Just one of those things.

Naturally the title is heading to Liverpool now.....
 
dreadful, the fact we went in at half time underservedly level should have been the catalyst to a better second half. Too many mistakes, too long to make a change and too many individual awful performances. Simply a bad day at the office although the last few games we've been nowhere near our best. Sterling needs to not shit his pants when virgins in a crowd boo him.
 
We have to lose eventually so least it's by a 1 goal margin. The only negative is that other teams will follow this klopp blueprint as how Celtic exposed us last season. Hopefully before they figure this out, Pep adapts this in his coaching.
 
Thought Ilky was poor...Im not sure why David Silva played no part int he game....if its for personnel reason then fair enough (but then why would he be on the bench?) - Pep got that bit wrong today if indeed it was tactical...Silva brings out the best in KDB and Sane.

Sane is just inconsistent....one minute amazing...one minute average...but it will come

Stones and Aguero don't look fit...Sergio is always limping when not running and Stones looks like he is running through treacle at present.

Ferna was not on his game today either

Shame we took Sterling off as he would have been exactly where B. Silva was when he scored....that would have been worth the loss just to see him score that.

Having said all that it was a couple of individual errors that led to some of their goals....

Possibly one game too far for the players and injuries/tiredness are starting to take its toll.....we need a few more quality players in the squad to cover the injuries.
