I often don't blame him for being frustrated at Arsenal. If the chips are down there, he's frequently the only player who seems like he gives a shit.

And I don't even blame him too much for offering his services around for a higher wage. His asking price from Arsenal has halved so there's more clubs potentially in the mix. Yes, the money involved is ridiculous, but people in the same position would play off potential employers.
Not really halved, they want £35m plus a united player worth 25m/30m

That mikhi guy holds the key..... If we have really moved on... Hope we are focusing on getting Maguire / LB like Bertrand on board in this window.. With Jesus back hopefully we can manage in the attacking areas... Defense needs work

It can be a dangerous game taking media briefings at face value. I've had some insight into a handful of transfer deals and there can be a huge difference between what the papers report and what actually happens.

If he’s playing stupid games then I’m even more disappointed in him. Bringing that red shite into it is just very poor behaviour. Only him climbing down and accepting our initial could salvage this relationship. And then it’s gonna take arsenal taking our £20m offer. Sanchez must show us he wants us by also having some patience

i don't think this is over only my opinion...if it is fair enough...but I think City are playing a very clever game here, with the statement issued and the wording...the ball is firmly in Sanchez and Arsenals court....Pep will have spoken to Sanchez and I still think he will want City....Obviously what's happening is Arsenal trying to get more from us not so much Sanchez wanting more and if the Rags have offered £35mill you can see why Arsenal have taken this stance....

As I said, I think the agent has tried to speed up this deal but it's rebounded on him spectacularly.

I have a similar feeling here, PB. There are too many briefings going on. There's a different story playing out behind the scenes and my guess is that City know the player only wants them and know that they can "stick" if the player refuses all other moves. That leaves Arsenal with two choices: accept our offer or keep the player. I've a feeling this one isn't over yet.

It's 6am, the party is dead but you lot are still thinking there's a chance of taking home a stunner.
The only thing waiting to be noshed is a kebab on the way home. Accept it.

Who is leading this saga then PB ? Is it being driven by arsenal or the player and agent ?

I think £125k- £150k a week basic then performance related clauses based on appearances, goals in each individual comp, assists. Each trophy he helps us win. To make it to a max £250k a week if he meets those targets.

That’s more than enough

I live in the same building as Mkhitaryan. Will leave a note on his white Lamborghini asking him to stay put.

This is the thing no one knows....the Agent and Arsenal will be pushing him to the rags(more money etc) but at the end of the day it's what Sanchez wants but at the minute know one knows what he wants apart from Those close to it

Nah, sorry. He will go to the Rags. This is over for us and I just hope it does not come back and bite us on the derriere; even one of my (just) 17 year old daughters, who has not been tainted by Cityitis, said this morning: "we'll lose a striker (to injury) and Sanchez will score the winner in the Derby!".
