I know people say his too lazy but Mahrez is a great footballer. If Kun and Jesús were both injured. A front 3 of Sané, Raheem and Mahrez would cause plenty of headaches for even the best defences.
We have Bernardo for the exact role that Mahrez would play, give him a few more seasons and he’ll surpass him.

He is quicker and stronger. And most on here don't see Bernardo as a wideman although I think he does a decent job.We have Bernardo for the exact role that Mahrez would play, give him a few more seasons and he’ll surpass him.

Mahrez is deceptively strong, uses his height to keep people off the ball. I’ve seen more meat on a butcher’s pencil! Plus Mahrez is more effective through the middle as we’ve seen since Puel took over. A good player definitely, just not for us with our current squad.

How's about a cheeky loan deal for David Villa from our American brother....I know he's getting on but would be a great back up striker. He's probably the best out and out finisher around over the last 10 years and has a great close relationship with Merlin who needs a lot of personal support at the moment?
