Gibbs looks like the worst of them but I would be surprised if any started on Wednesday.

Unfortunately it will mean Jacob will be starting.

Rondon was rested for our game but they are a bit low on depth now and will most likely have to play a number of players that played against Liverpool which otherwise Pardew would have rested for Southampton including Rodriguez.

West Broms intensity and no amount of good play was very impressive. Keeper came and caught a lot of crosses, not seen that in a long time.

Apart from Stoke and Watford, and the former just after HT was on a knife edge, I haven't seen any pushovers. Teams come and play with an intensity that they'd never have done at The Swamp when the GPC was alive, well, and ready to pounce on any Whistling Wanker at HT. Every coach wants a Pep turnover on their CV.

The last real picture of him I clocked was when he was mumbling and rambling down the touchline at The Stadium of Light a few seconds after Kun had netted. I don't know whether all bodily and mental capacities have been fully functioning since.
