I honestly don't know why Mason bothers with the job. it might be it's the only job he could get. He's a humourless person who gives the impression from his body language that he is out to punish players he takes a dislike to. Historically, he has ignored the Laws of the Game for season after season and knows that he will not have to face any kind of disciplinary action unless he kicks one of the players like that French guy.

Should be investigated either way. Either he's not competent to referee, or he's incapable of an impartial performance and shouldn't be a referee.
Either way he needs to be sacked as of about 2009.

This cannot in any way be described as 'football' - it is thuggery, not so pure but simple. The sooner the FArce have a system in place that outlaws this kind of approach to the game the better. And it's not just the appropriate application of VAR that needs sorting out. The FA should go for those players and charge them, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE USELESS WANKER WITH THE WHISTLE HAS DETERMINED AT THE TIME!
