one of warnock's shef united players assaulted the opponent's c/f. Elbow to the face resulting in badly broken eye socket and depressed fracture of the skull. His verdict "looked worse than it was"....ffs, do that in the street and you're looking at 2 yrs. As has been mentioned warnock and the like are proof that the national team will never achieve anything but laughing stock status..

The sooner Warnock fucks off and retires the better. Then he can get a job back at Talkshite with his mate Brazil.

"I slaughtered him when I saw it," said Warnock. "I said 'you do a horrific tackle and I get three days of hell' because I got more stick than Joe.

sounds he was only bothered because he got stick for it.

Neil Warnock: "I wish they would have put a slow still of Kevin De Bruyne's tackle and studs on Jazz Richards. And the bad tackle of Fernandinho when they played West Brom the following week. There were some horrendous tackles and nothing was said about that."
Can someone post a replay of this tackle by De Bruyne, lets at least be fair and have a look as I never saw anything like he's describing at the time.

Fernandinho's I do remember seeing and watched the replay back because some were saying he could have gone... when even in slowmo —when they usually look worse— you can see rather than a stamp or lunge he is attempting to step over him to get to the ball but the player moved at the same time, he also immediately pulls his foot away to prevent putting his full weight on that foot. And yet even the pundits say "only he knows if he meant that".... no you absolute bellends! You know very well he didn't you're just trying to use it to excuse a dangerous tackle that went unpunished against City.

I will wait until I see a good replay of De Bruyne's before I comment on that but I suspect it's another example of clutching at straws to excuse their own wrongs.

I think the de Bruyne one was when he played for a high ball and in bringing his foot down, his front studs came down on the knee of the Cardiff player.
It wasn't intentional, but I expect it hurt quite a bit.
