To be fair to the media, the vast majority see Pep as the better manager, there are a few who still hold a candle for Mourinho but only a few.But he always wins the title in his 2nd season and all the media said he is a better manager than pep....
I heard that this isn't really his second season. That's next season. Apparently it's the second season having ignored the first season that he's always champion. Rag logic? No, I don't get it either, but when you've got as much history as the rags, who am I to question how history works? But he always wins the title in his 2nd season and all the media said he is a better manager than pep....
We got him one extension, it's out of our hands now really. He isn't exactly helping us in our quest to keep him at the "Theatre of Dreams", is he?
That's the way I look at it, it'll cost them at least £20m which isn't to be sniffed at. Would be quite funny if he finished outside the top 4 this season and got sacked, he'd leave with arguably a worse record than Van Gaal (4th, 5th and FA Cup vs 6th, 5th, LC, EL) despite having spent a lot, lot more and leaving behind an older squad than the one he inherited.Tbf it’s a tough job trying to save a dogshit manager from the chop as history has proven with the rags recently.
However if worst comes to worst at least we managed a contract extension out of it.
