League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

It was awful and went on right through the match
There’s always someone who spoils it for everyone else at Wembley, isn’t there? Might be worth reporting to the club. They could track him down and ban him. Or her.

they must have been right bad, lol

I've been that guy. I was sat in East Stand years ago for a derby and had too much Guinness the night before, morning/day of the game. I was rotten. I kept it to myself and joined in the outrage going on around me..

"who's that smelly bastard"?

People used to say, "ah, you've won nothing with Pep yet."
Well, WE HAVE NOW!
The jealous b's can do one.
Congratulations everyone and I hope that Pep stays with us for another 25 years!

pep the myth and he's been found out in england hahahahahahha boy the media and the scum have been giving it large about pep. but if he was at united he would be the greatest manager since slice bread and jose who. look whatever manchester city win or do under pep the media will not give him credit its seen that any manager at manchester city and the money should win every thing or is seen as a failure

what manchester city and pep have done this season to the english game is ripped them a new hole nobody is close and the gap is so wide the premier league looks like a relegation battle from 2nd place down. even sky have forget how far manchester city are in front and now its pushing the race for the top 4 on the clips in the breaks

A public flogging would have been appropriate or maybe a simple enema. Looking at the pies on sale it was probably them.

Took my son with me yesterday for his first ever trip to Wembley. Had a brilliant day, with the additional bonus of actually being able to remember it for once!

Thought we were pretty poor in the first half, but it was a superb finish from Aguero to give us the lead. Nice to see Bravo get an assist too, hopefully his performance vindicated Guardiola's decision and will put an end to some of the over the top criticism he receives. Second half we were much better, and completely outplayed Arsenal, who were admittedly awful. Couldn't have gone much better with the stalwarts Aguero, Kompany and Silva getting the goals. Only thing that could've topped it would have been a red card for Wilshere, the loathsome prick.

Have you seen Neville's commentary on SSN?

He was absolutely tearing Arsenal apart. Said they're "an absolute disgrace" and the like.

Ha, yeah watched a bit of it this morning. He was absolutely scathing. Part of me thinks that was to detract from our victory though!

Wiltshire spent more time trying to get Ferdy sent off than actually playing he is a horrible runt Thought first half we were very nervous infact we did not have to raise our game to the fullest to win it. My best moment other than the obvious was Vinny winning that tackle showing all the grit and determination of the the true legend he is love that guy , will be a sad day when he goes lovely summing up of the man by none other than Craig Bellamy

Now don’t get me wrong Arsenal were not great, but Neville’s agenda was there for all to see. His comments have been picked up by everyone and he should be reeled in now. His comments were a disgrace, and in turn tried to deflect away from our performance.

Wengers comments about the added on time were priceless. What a prize prick that old man really is

To be fair to Neville, whether it detracts from our victory or not, I thought Arsenal were absolutely shocking. We played very well and we dominated but we never had to move out of third gear really. Arsenal were a mess.

I also suspect he is trying to ensure there is a reaction from Arsenal on Thursday. Detract from Citys performance and get the arsenal players backs up to be a totally different side on Thursday. Neville knows exactly what he's doing and what outcome he is hoping for.

Pain in the arse getting off Wembley Way to walk back to the car in Brent... Plod making everybody go through the station even if not taking trains...

Home before midnight and really enjoyed the day, weather was superb... too many Blues in our block (507) were bladdered and probably won't even remember the game... fist fights in the 2nd half which was sad to see... but it takes all sorts I guess...
We parked on the yellow official car park, £65 for a minibus, 10 Minutes walk from block 504, no faffing about with queueing for trains to Stanmore, Watford as in the past, back in our local for 11pm, spot on .good day out, chuffed for Pep, last year his supporters and detractors were kicking off at Wembley after the Arsenal defeat, now it's a Pep love in, I prefer the latter.
