Chelsea (H) Post Match Thread

Was over when we smashed Tottenham, just a matter of time now...
 
Kind of game we would have conceded an equaliser by playing 1000 passes or however many it was. But that was the old City. Pep's City just play a game under control and exasperate teams into submission. Huge win and the week from hell = 1 trophy, 7 goals, non conceded and three wins.

Amazing.

Win next week and we guarantee Champions League already! Surely the earliest ever?
 
Its really interesting to hear the difference in the way the UK commentators see the game and the analysts here in Canada. According to the Canadians, Chelsea were awful, terrible tactics, only interested in not losing, made no effort to win etc etc. That's exactly how I saw it. Completely one-sided, at times nothing more than a training exercise for City. A great three points.
 
Always very satisfying to get a victory against a parked bus. Agüero calmly into my motm Silva, great cross and a tidy finish Bernardo for the win. Extremely rarely troubled and the whole team were classy and professional throughout. I thought this week would be hard; turned out to be 3 of our easier games. Such a joy to support this team.
 
Gutted I couldn't watch the 2nd half. Streams were all shite.

Listened to it on BBC GMR and it sounded like a stroll!

I expect well see a fair bit more of these kind of games as the season runs out.

We've got more important things to expand energy on. If the other side attacks we'll counter, if they don't bother, keep ball is great for us.

4 clean sheets in our last 5 games now too, quite nice.
