The 100/104 goal chase

Just had a look at Skybet as my first bet of 80 goals has been achieved
They haven't settled and won't until the end of the season

Meanwhile whilst checking, I clicked on another link for similar bets
To score 104 goals in the league, their odds are 2/5
I have just phoned Skybet up cos I had £40 @ 5/4 over 80 goals... They had a word with the traders and settled it straight away. I will have to do the same with my £10 @ 6/1 over 90 and my £10 @ 33/1 over 100 goals bets

I've just checked my account and they've settled mine as well

Thanks mate, obviously your call has woken them up

Wow , that is an unbelievable difference between where people saw this pre season ( my bet is with paddy power ) they must be pretty sure that this will happen and they are rarely wrong at this stage of the season . Feeling a little more positive about it now

Same bet as me. The max I could put on was £26.88 or something daft. 35/1
Then Sky bet put it up at 20/1 so I has £20 on that!

This is something I've been curious about. Seems like everyone had 33/1 at the beginning of the season. To think we're in a position that the odds of us scoring the most goals in PL history are at 2/5 is just unreal.

Off thread but beware of Betway, I had a bet of £5 on the Liverpool v Spuds the match a few weeks ago, 2-2 at 9/1. The bet won and the next day I got a call from them saying they made my bet void as the deposit of £10 was in the name of g Hammond (other half), and not m Hammond, me. I told them the previous two deposits I had made were in my wife's name and as they were losers they hadn't given me my money back. They wouldn't budge and have even kept my £10. I have reported them to IBAS arbitration service who need me to go through their claims procedure, I keep emailing them and they email back saying they can't get through to my number, absolute wankers. I have Googled Betway since and they really are a bunch of Charlatans withdrawing bonuses and cheating punters, steer clear .

Until you can easily sue them, they’ll keep on doing stunts like this.

21 goals in 9 games needed for 104.

2.3 goals per game.

Still very doable.

If we play like we can v Stoke we might make a big hole in that number a week tomorrow. Especially with no real need to save energy as we don't have a game soon after.

We need a couple of 4 or 5 goal hauls in there. It'll be tricky to get 3 against Spurs at Wembley, and PEG will park the bus at our place (he will be desperate to avoid a humiliating drubbing). And Everton away could be difficult to click up 3 or 4 goals at.

Brighton (H) 10th
Everton (A) 11th
Swansea (H) 13th
West Ham (A) 14th
Huddersfield (H) 15th
Southampton (A) 17th
Stoke (A) 19th

Think we'll rack up quite a few goals against that lot.
