Since Mancini's first summer window we've only signed Džeko, Pizarro (loan), Bony and Laporte in 8 windows so it would seem the management agree with my stance on it that new signings need a preseason and the squad should be complete on September 1st. Of those 4 Džeko didn't do much until the following season, Laporte will probably end up the same as he's being used sparingly, Bony was a disaster and Pizarro was a highly experienced back up who did a great job when called upon for 5 months or so.True, think well make the two we need this summer, then barring a serious injury we wont be doing January at all.
