“It’s kicking off in the Stretford End, everyone is screaming attack, attack, attack”
Hmm the old virtual steward ploy....says it all grassing on your own it’s no wonder genuine rags hate the swampCheapskates.
Closed down mate, I was thinking of it as well.I always thought Strahov in Prague was the biggest with over 200,000 but perhaps that isn't being used for sports these days,

Biggest now is apparently one in Korea that holds 150k.Surprised by that. Been there a fair few times. Wasn't the most luxurious stadium but I liked it.

You are correct. We also used on this forum the piece from the MEN that showed figures from GMP, that United had been showing worse figures on actually attendees where in some cases 20+ thousand difference. The figures collated were for H & S reasons, confirming that the Rags were cooking the books.
Didn`t a certain Mr.Swales do this on a regular occurrence at Maine Road.47,000 against Charlton at home when we won 5-1 to gat promotion. My arse it was.More like 64000 !!!
You are correct.
I had forgotten all about that.
An emphatic win, a sunny day and then came news of the Bradford fire......
Give him a large slice of Baldrick's apple crumble.
yes - that became a poignant day
Remember Blackburn away the same day as Hillsborough too?
Think we lost 4-0 at Blackburn that day.
Think we lost 4-0 at Blackburn that day.
we did - for some reason the heavily left footed Gerry Taggart was deployed as a right back - into the teeth of a gale as I remember. And the away end at Ewood was part building site - wouldn't be allowed today. The stand would be ok but never Taggart at RB................
I was there but remember very little of the game. Abut 40 of us got off the train, the last stop before Blackburn a 3 1/2 hours in a boozer. Taxi's to the ground, we should have stayed in the pub.

Wouldn't the issue be far worse if it was the other way round ?If, God forbid, there was a major emergency at any stadium how would the emergency services manage if the club tell them there are 75,000 people inside when there are actually nearer 60,000?
