United (H) Post Match Thread

Guardiola is not to blame period. We had 6 clear chances. 2 blatant penalties. We were 2-0 up. We should not have lost at home from 2-0 up.

Sterling is too wasteful to be this important to us. Please sign a world class winger/forward in the summer.

From Ole's to defeat only City could do that.

All about Tuesday now but they way our defence just crumbles I'm not so sure.

Some divs will blame Pep but it’s not on him. The players let him and us down in that second half.
The ref played his part of course but every goal we conceded was preventable. Otamendi is a worry for me these last few weeks. His head has gone.

+1

Shocking, truly shocking 2nd half collapse. I'd like to know, Ederson goes walkabouts all over the pitch during the game then stays on his line for every one of their goals where if he'd come out he could have saved 1 or 2 of them, been sub-standard the last few weeks....can anyone remember the last save he made?
Said to my lad after 50 minutes, we've started this 2nd half very casually, pulling out of 50/50s all over the pitch, casual passing and we just handed it to them on a fecking plate.
Saw the very worst of Sterling this evening and the reason why he will never be a truly world class player, bottled it three times.
Seriously, how did we lose that...utterly dire 2nd half all over the pitch again, David Silva anonymous that 2nd half like he was on Wednesday.
Juvenile tactics 2nd half and half-arsed showing got what it deserved, are we totally incapable of staying calm when we lose a goal in a big match without collapsing like a team of under 15's?

Those acting like two penalties don't matter, are nothing short of braindead! Those were massive decisions that went against us, Young should have been sent off too. A penalty is still a penalty regardless of how many chances we created... you're as bad as the bent refs some of you lot, no wonder they rob us of decisions time after time... you're practically bending over for it with your pants down for it begging for more with that attitude.

It's like some believe we're that good that we should expect to have to play against the ref... well fuck that idea right off, it's not on!
totally agree mate

We go to fucking pot as soon as we concede. Needs working on big time. We had another 15 minute calamity

Fcuk you Guardiola. You disrespected us.

He's a genius. He had us demolishing a major rival at half time to win the league by nineteen points.

It's not his fault Sterling can't finish or that we can't defend or that Atkinson is a United fan.

The Rags and Dippers are mocking us. And no wonder. And the worst is probably still to come on Tuesday. Another 90 minutes of humiliation. The buck stops with Pep here.

Jesus some need to just have a wobble. Remember when the shoe was on the other foot - all City had to play for was the derby, well the tables have turned as it is united now looking for a derby victory with nothing to show for it at the end of the season

We missed gilt edged chances in the first half and in a derby they will always come back to haunt you. What is worrying is how we ship goals when we come under some pressure, liverpool and now today

Needs addressing

Biggest disappointment for me was sterling missing those chances and the ref, otamendi has been poor of late

Why keep Sterling on after those horrible misses? Our game was crying out for a striker and Pep decides to bring them on only after 75 minutes had gone??
It was clear Pep is thinking about the Champions League and this loss is not a big deal as of now, but losing after being in a winning position is going to cause a dent in morale come Tuesday. Not good..

I wish Pep would stop tinkering with the formations so late in the season after it was going so well before..
