We only need 3.It would have been but there is no chance we're scoring 4 without reply against Liverpool
End of the day though the rags are celebrating like they have won the title.they are that far down the big table that winning against us is the highlight of the season. A few points to mull over though. 1 we need a direct striker to come on and change things when it’s not going our way. 2 whenever a team presses us we bottle it and our defence looked shaky as fuck . Otamendi has had a good season but he is not a world class centre half . I don’t rate sterling he has scored a lot of goals but the majority have been Tap ins. Then misses today we’re shocking. Pep got it so wrong today thinking ahead to a game which is out of our grasp. Liverpool will muller in midweek and then if we done at spurs then the panic startsThe problem is pep, no clue how to see a game out, 2 0 at home and fucking loose, all this against a manager and team we have been laughing at

Seriously I think we need to employ some good psychologists to work with this team.
How often have we seen a really great display crumble as soon as something goes against us and the pressure is on.
Today was a day where we could have still easily won after those two early goals but as happened before, we are out of this world when things are going well but seem to find it really hard to overcome sudden adversity..
Never going to win the CL until we get over that barrier.

Don't know where to start with all that.
That second half showed me that we still have a major issue with our mentality and knowing how to close out a game. We trotted out after half time expecting to stroll to victory, and collectively panicked as soon as they looked like getting back into it. Having said that we didn't get a clear pen, every decision seemed to go against us, and we should have been at least 4-0 up at half time.
In addition Pep lost the plot and didn't make any changes until it was too late, and then took off the player (Merlin) most likely to get us back into the game. All because of the minuscule hope of pulling back the deficit against Liverpool. It really should have been a matter of playing our strongest team, get the win and then worry about the Liverpool game. All we got were shots of KDB, Gabby and Kun on the bench.
That wasn't good enough from Pep. It was a derby and a chance to lock up the title, and he leaves Kev, Walker, Kun and Gabby on the bench. Sorry Pep you stuffed up.

Doesn’t matter about Atkinson, yes he was shocking but we lost that ourselves.

Of course it matters - it matters a lot that a ref cannot do his job properly.
Sterling missed chances and we didn't defend properly but that isn't mitigation for the ref failing in his job. How he cannot see that foul on Aguero is simply astonishing.
Anyway, you appear to want to keep repeating the same things over and over, that must be 20 posts or so saying that exact same thing. You're either mentioning the ref or Sterling missing chances - nothing else.

that just makes no sense.....it wasn't bent (as in deliberate)...they were ref errors plain and simple.....
we should only ever look at controlling what we can control and that is how we play and how (to a certain extent) the opposition play. Pep liked ahead a game too much something he has said he wasn't doing all season...he made a mistake....

Since his Barca days when he had a freakishly once in a lifetime player at his disposal he has fucked up every big test. Every one.
I’m struggling to see the improvement over past managers to be honest. All this money spent and no discernible improvement in results.

It's lazy to place the blame on Sterling lets be honest most of the team crumbled second half and that's were the game was lost. They have all played there part all season but they all went to pieces in the last two games nobody has taken the games by the scruff of the neck when thing got tough. I also think the football we have played because of Pep has been unbelievable but in the last couple of games he has tried to be too clever and should have stuck with our tried and tested it's worked all season so why change things.
