Sorry but Pep royally messed this up.
Starting yesterday with his needless pop at the agent - yes might have been funny but it fired up Pogba and guess what he bags 2 goals and looks like a world beater.
Next he picks a stupid team with no strikers and puts his faith in sterling who couldn't score in a brothel today.

Lose v Liverpool and we will probably capitulate vs Tottenham and then the gap is 10 points with some tough games to come.
Throw in another loss and then we could be in serious danger of not winning it.

Not so much, seeing as poor defending mainly cost us that game. Wouldn't you say Kompany and Otamendi are our strongest
CB pairing, at the moment. Sure we missed chances but that doesn't give Utd goals.

Had we not brainfarted in front of goal or hit post on 3 separate occasions we'd have been bringing Yaya on with a half hour for his goodbye.

The team put out were good enough to win that game by 6 goals, until the heads went. Newsflash, Otamendi wasn't rested, Dinho wasn't, and yet it was them that lost the plot.

They are shit. Shit teams sometimes wins games against good teams. Today the shit team fumbled in 3 goals because we bottled the 2nd half. Nothing to do with the starting line-up
 
Am just calling down now.

There have been periods in games where its becomes obvious to me, for whatever reason, the opposition is going to score. And again today.

Their first goal was always going to happen from about a minute before they scored, and again for the second.

Its like we start running in treacle, and the opposition seems to get spaces in areas they have not had them in the rest of the game, and we make simple mistakes, and all of these three aspects suddenly conspire to make the goal inevitable.

Then it's compounded by some very strange refereeing decisions, which, if we saw them in a South American game we wouldnt be surprised, and I am sorry, but I don't think that was incompetence.

Truly fucked off, we won't win on Tuesday, we won't win against spurs, not a cat in hell chance, I think we will then draw a couple so the league will be quite a few weeks off, before we stagger over the line.

Exactly it wasn't the absence of a striker that cost us today... we were already winning.

Are you telling me that you think that performance today was anywhere near as good as some of our performances this season.....its you that needs to give your head a wobble if you believe that....

And don't tell me what i deserve and don't deserve...i was in the kippax as a kid in the 80's and suffered the same dogs abuse at school as Im sure you and countless other city fans did at those times.....(maybe int he work place if you and others are older)

You said you know my MO...well you are following yours true to form by starting to dish out the insults when someone posts something that you don't like or agree with..... If you don't agree then fine....surely you are big enough to handle something you disagree with without resorting to banning people or slagging them off? Surely that is the idea of a football forum; to post opinions and counter opinions - you just seem to want to attack people for theirs

For clarity i agree the ref cost us today. However this happens in the vast majority of football games depending upon your point of view (i.e. which team you are supporting and also because of human error - that is what makes football so exciting some people say)...Yes VAR would have changed the result today I fully agree, however at the moment and before the game today we know that isn't in place so the only thing we can control is the game we play and the game our opponents play.....the team selection didnt help that..Utd were plain awful in the first half and we capitalised....and we should have had more....but then again every man and his dog knows sterling cant finish for toffee. With either Kun or GJ on we would have been 5 up at half time despite underperforming in terms of how we normally play.

The section of Ilky over KDB also cost is as Ikly was anonymous for the second game running despite his goal. He was outfought on a consistent basis and KDB in there with Silva would have meant us having ore control in both halves. (the first part of the first half was pretty even and we hadn't played well until just before Kompany scored) - lots of misplaced passes, very little penetration.. the next 20-25 mins we played well helped but he fact that utd were all over the place - we should have scored 3 in that period (Sterling twice and Ilky with his header) but we didnt....Sterling not scoring is nothing new....he has form for poor finishing and it cost us....The none selection of a striker cost us as did the non selection of KDB.....

If you disagree then fine but try to do it without resorting to personal insults...I havent reported you and wouldn't stoop to that cause i can take someone disagreeing with me even if its done in the wrong way
