It’s delusional but it’s the kind of thing we leave ourselves open to when we don’t put it beyond doubt in the game.....it’s us the fans who have to bear the brunt of all the shit stirring tho

I'm getting near to 50 years old mate, I'm pessimistic a lot of the time about City, but that's just ridiculous.

Some people need to grow a pair. If you can't hold your own against rags these days regardless of one result then I think you need your fanny wiping.

Media just hyping up City's probably limited chances to go trough imo only to hit and humiliate us even harder if we fail to go trough.

So when they do not give us credit its because they are biased and cannot give us credit and if they do highlight how were that good a side we can over turn a 3-0 goal advantage its to humiliate us later on. Either way the agendarists have found an agenda.

The media started off giving us credit and then decided to push an agenda on whether we are the greatest PL side ever in order to slag us off.

I've never known any other side be spoken about in a manner and that includes Chelsea last season who were equally dominant (results wise) at stages of the season. In fact, many of the media use the exact same argument as Pep did to explain why we are not the greatest PL side ever but still drive the agenda forward.

The angle the media drove forward with has not been used as a stick to beat us with.

Well, yes. It's standard m.o.

Find what someone is really good at, praise them for it, raise the suggestion that they could be the best at it yet by picking an arbitrary height that is theoretically possible, and then criticise them when they fail to reach the theorised heights. It all drives spacefilling.

Just like Pep is the only manager deemed a failure for not winning the CL. Funnily enough, I've never seen Ferguson or Mourinho judged by that standard.

For years I have been on the thread and read how City never get any credit. How it is all part of a conspiracy to devalue our achievements, stop our development, protect the top 4 cartel in particular the interests of United and Liverpool.

Well this year we have received endless praise and instead of people being honest and acknowledging this, even the praise has now been turned into some media narrative to try and slag us off. It is about time we lost the chip on our shoulder.
