It certainly heaps more pressure on PEG. Losing against the best team of the season by far (even if it does mean your biggest rivals winning the league against you) is one thing. To capitulate against the bottom of the league is another.

Now we’re waiting on Liverpool winning the CL, or will it be the usual potless trophy season and more of ‘it will be our year next year’ BS.
