Season Tickets 2018-19 - 3% average increase reported

Away fans also have to get to the match. It’s a safe assumption that they’ll be travelling further to get there. Swansea and Newcastle fans have no kind trips.

Not for the rags and scousers.

They should also be capped across the country

Away fans are paying £30 yet home fans are having to pay almost double for the same fucking game (our big game prices are £58)
Not sure thats entirely true when away fans return the third tier they go on sale to home fans for £30. The £58 tickets are only for a handful of games and are in the second tiers if they were sold for £30 that would be cheaper than the season ticket price for those seats. Match day tickets could and maybe should be cheaper but comparing them to the capped away prices doesn't work it's a bit more complicated than that.

It shouldn’t but it will. A lot of people are getting very pissed off with it all now.

Summer 2011: £50 increase
2012: £75^
2013: £60^
2014: 50^
2015: 50^
2016: froze for a year
2017: 50^

That’s a £335 increase in seven years

Just to price out fans who have had to give up tickets and piss people off City have earnt about £15m off all that. That’s not even a quarter of the TV money for one year.

There’s just no need for it at all

That is horrible tbh. Simply awful

After Utd have annouced another freeze on prices, we need to be doing at least the same. One idea for the club as well, as a gesture for our support, would be to subsidise a £20 discount for Community Shield tickets at Wembley in August. Kids would then go for free and a big uptake could help create a great atmosphere for the start of the new season.

I think season ticket prices should be frozen this year. The rises year on year are starting to price long term fans out and the atmosphere is definitely getting worse as a result. In the grand scheme of things any price rises would have a very limited impact on our turnover but piss a lot of our fans off in the process.

I hope Sheikh Mansour, Khaldoon, Soriano, Vicky, Danny, etc are reading this thread.

We appreciate what Sheikh Mansour has done for City. That includes winning a 3rd PL title, and a League Cup this season. But it really is about time season ticket prices and matchday ticket prices were frozen next season. A reduction across the board would be an even better gesture after 6 price rises in the last 7 seasons, as well tier and block pricing being introduced. Another price increase would be unjust and indefensible. As you all know, City's fan base isn't the wealthiest, and we don't yet have the legions of tourists and day trippers like the 3 you know who clubs have. Empty seats at the Etihad this season, regardless of Pep's brilliant football, is a warning to you all that City fans are being priced out of the games. That is such a shame as they'll probably never see better football at City again. £50+ for a match day ticket is untenable for our fan base. Now is the time for all of you and the club to make a gesture to the fans. Freezing season ticket and matchday prices for next season is the right and only thing to do.

Correct!

Also “Platinum” should be scrapped and never seen again. £50 extra for double points is a low blow
