Excuse the Sun shite rag but The bottom of this article shows the bin dippers all over the police vans. They didnt do themselves any favours. Hopefully Roma tear them a new ass hole next week but i expect multiple reports of attacks and injuries. Hopefully nothing too serious. The worse part of some of those videos is the one guy in blue defending over the body his mate while being beat by 10 different belts. Unbelievable that noone else stepped in.

The last 10 mins showed why they won’t the win the league anytime soon, the hoof the ball and are fucked after 80 mins they can’t close a game out by retaining the ball, they can only attack, great in a cup but not over a long sustained campaign
They have one tactic but they are extremely good at what they do. Negate that and they are useless. That is why teams that employ a defensive formation against them are more successful than teams that try to press them.

We're on the verge of a wave of scousism, and only city can stop it.

Can't wait for next season, let's see how they perform on cold winter nights when they're players don't turn up against Swansea. A winning team wins 38 games not for just 6 or 7

Didn't watch the game last night and just catching up on all the reports. Firstly what were the police doing allowing scrotes to climb all over their vans and light pyrotechnics. I will assume just like after out game no arrests have been made and none will be. Secondly why are the press reporting that a Roma fan was seen carrying a hammer when it is obviously a scouser. During the scuffles right outside the kop where were the police and stewards as they didn't appear to be anywhere. How come everyone in England knew that there would be trouble except for the Merseyside police? Maybe UEFA will now ask themselves why so many games involving Liverpool have trouble occurring. Has everyone forgotten the Dortmund player injured during their coach welcome last year and yet they are allowed to continue without any sanction. Maybe if they do reach the final they allocated zero tickets they might begin to realise that they aren't above the law

I see Merseyside’s ‘finest’ giving these feral rats carte Blanche to do as they please, what do these rancid emotional incontinents have on their regions police force?, do the police feel a collective sense of guilt because of the incompetence of South Yorkshire police and thus take a softly softly approach with these degenerates?.

Having no tickets hasn't stopped them in the past, many times.

I'd expect nothing less from them. It's never their fault.
Just had a look on rawk and I kid you not the cheeky fuckers are suggesting that Roma should be forced to play behind closed doors for the 2nd leg, appalled by everything ashamed of nothing has never been more apt.

See the scouse police have already arrested 20odd Roma fans for throwing “weapons” having flares ; antisocial behaviour etc etc.

Nobody arrested yet for attacking our coach during which several players could have been injured and the coach driver’s visibility was seriously affected by the scouse flares - lucky it didn’t cause him to veer into the crowd.

Hypocrites & double standards.

Excellent summary. Must just be coincidence that trouble follows them around! It’s unbelievable to think that all English teams were once banned from European cups for several years because of events at a scouse game. They never learn - & the authorities are frightened to punish them because of the global Liverpool love in

The police are basically liverpool fans in uniform. Do you think GMP would allow any fans to sit on top of their vans letting flares off - not a chance. The police were too busy helping them show their support whilst the Roma Ultra's were left to swan in and cause havoc.

Funny how the Roma coach was re-directed with no issues or tweets from the merseyscum police - they wanted to hide their true colours from Uefa by doing this so that it showed them in a good light for the camera's

Fair play to Liverpool. They deservedly beat us and they've peaked at the right time and are probably 1 game from winning the CL. However are they a great team? I don't believe so, 20 wins out of 35 in the league is a pretty poor return. However they are an extremely dangerous cup team but they expend a huge amount of energy in short bursts during a game. If you can see their threat out they are vulnerable, something we didn't do in the first 45mins of the tie. You have to give them credit though in that they have capitalised on their dominant spells recently however they cannot sustain this over a full league season. They remind me of Mourinho's Madrid side, lethal on the counter but limited with the ball. Extremely surprised Roma didn't compress the space in behind and allow Liverpool to have the ball and play in front. Milner, Henderson & Ox haven't got the guile to break down a well organised defence.

You need to get with the fucking programme buddy boy. I think you'll find that we can win the title at a canter, potentially break all sorts of records to boot but we are not a great side unless we win the title for the next 5 years and win a couple of Champions Leagues in that time too. This Liverpool team however having got on the cusp of the champions league final is definitely one of the greatest teams since the 1970 Brazil team.

Does anyone remember a video on here taken from some Liverpool fans TV type bollocks where the fans were coming out of anfield after a defeat to someone shit and going mad about the fact that the home support is silent and doesn't help the team? Would love a link to it if anyone has it. Trying to deal with some **** who laps up the media hype. Apparently Liverpool have never had a quiet day at anfield in their history and they put City fans to shame.
