True, he would have. Even if he had also chosen to run out for that Brighton attack he would have made sure the ball was well away from play so he and the defence could recover.

Not mention the whole thing may not have happened at all as he gives our defenders much more confidence when they play, so for all we know Vinny and Dinho would have handled that initial pass more effectively.
Yep all of that,it's his shirt for prem games and his award to go for,to beat the alpaca would have been sweet

Giving bravo a game when we could just give him a medal anyway was biazarre

A lot of ifs buts and maybes. Equally, Eddie could have played and had a bigger mare conceding two.

Its all water under the bridge and Pep will have had his reasons to pick Bravo

What things were those?

Not having a go, just interested in your analysis.
I have don't really know, as I posted Pep will have thought it through and had his reason, he'll look at the bigger picture of player morale for next season.
He made a few decisions last night that seemed to be about rewarding squad players, some that may not be here next season like Zinchenko, could Bravo be one of them? I dont think he will but he could be.

Fair enough. I agree Pep had reasons (even, perhaps, to highlight the issues with Bravo to other decision makers... maybe even to Bravo himself), I just think it was harsh on Eddie. Not sure anything will change my mind there.

I actually have no problem with the other selections, by the way.

Of course, but all we can do on here is analyse, debate, and predict. And I do not think it is unreasonable to predict that Eddie would likely have handled the various keeping situations better and, therefore, would likely be level with De Gea on 17 cleansheets today, giving him a chance at taking the golden glove out right.

But, as you said, it is water under the bridge now.

Full strength, a chance to further the history of this season. If we get the win then I think I'll be glad of the draw to Huddersfield, a round 100 points seems more satisfying than 102.

Foden/Diaz to get game time from the bench for their medals.

Perhaps Ederson just isnt that bothered about the award? Happy to let his mate have a game?

In Rome at the weekend, 10 year anniversary with the missus.

Always won the league when I have been away for the final game.

I can’t help thinking this is a sign for the centurions!!

100 points here we come!

Except we have already won...

We’re doomed, doomed I tell you!
