If you're Southgate right now, what 23 are you taking to Russia?

For me:

GOALKEEPERS
Jack Butland, Stoke City
Jordan Pickford, Everton
Nick Pope, Burnley

DEFENDERS
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool
Ryan Bertrand, Southampton
James Tarkowski, Burnley
Harry Maguire, Leicester City
John Stones, Manchester City
Kieran Trippier, Tottenham Hotspur
Kyle Walker, Manchester City

MIDFIELDERS
Dele Alli, Tottenham Hotspur
Fabian Delph, Manchester City
Eric Dier, Tottenham Hotspur
Jordan Henderson, Liverpool
Jesse Lingard, Manchester United
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Crystal Palace
Jonjo Shelvey, Newcastle United

FORWARDS
Leon Bailey, Bayer Leverkusen
Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur
Marcus Rashford, Manchester United
Ryan Sessegnon, Fulham
Raheem Sterling, Manchester City
Jamie Vardy, Leicester City

Pretty much go along with that, but would think joe hart will be in there the other three keepers have no real international experience more so tournament finals, the.young fella Sessegnon don’t think will make it,but like you I would have him in fantastic young player with huge potential, would love us to go for him and he’s quick as fuck ...

He's likely to go to Spurs, which is a pity.

Goalkeepers:
Pope, Pickford, Hart/Butland

Defenders:
Tripper, Walker, Bertrand, Maguire, Tarkowski, Stones

Defenders/Midfielders:
Delph, Dier

Midfielders:
Henderson, Shelvey, Loftus-Cheek, Alli, Lingard

Forwards:
Vardy, Kane, Rashford, Sterling

Youngsters for the experience:
Sessegnon, Foden

Get out of retirement:
Milner

Rose and Lallana miss out through injury problems. Butland misses out, I think he's as shit as Hart has been, at least Hart has experience. All United defenders miss out as they don't fit the style and only even look half decent due to Mourinho's anti-football.

Starting XI:
-------------------------------Pope
Walker-----------Stones-----------Maguire----------Delph
--------------------Dier--------------Henderson
Sterling---------------------?????????----------------??????????
-------------------------------Kane

Final 2 places decided between Alli, Vardy, Lingard and Rashford

if Stones Walker and Delph don't start in defence then I'd question Southgate. The issue is midfield there is just no quality at all. Alli and that's it. upfront you've got a greedy striker not interested in team play and the best player in Sterling that they prefer to boo.
