Pep (Sky Interview)

breaking all these plays down really does show how brilliant we've been, during a game and on TV replys you don't always see our technical brilliance.

when the CL was mentioned and is he desperate to win it with city "premier league is the most important , barcelona won their first one in 92 , ferguson took a long time to win it , it would be unfair to say oh they havent won the CL this year" it will happen one day

This is quality TV tbh. Neville actually asking some decent questions despite being way out of his depth in coaching ability

Thought they might go into the boxes/juego de posicion thing when he asked how do the players know where to be. That seems to be the crucial aspect of it to me

He isn't giving too much away, knows exactly who he wants, 'maybe a forward' my arse. What a bloke

You can see why this man has been so successful in world football. He comes alive when he talks about football. His intensity, his passion, his intelligence is second to none. A true genius.

Great watch. It was interesting to watch him and Neville. The first few questions and analysis, although Neville was asking the questions, Pep was answering to the presenter instead (and giving shorter answers). You could visibly see Pep starting to respond directly instead as Neville’s questions and analysis got better as it went on (which surpised me too as I didn’t think he had it in him!)

There’s an enormous amount of humility in him that is rare in people that gifted in what they do, regardless of any player we have or sign, I really do see him as the best asset we’ve got or could possibly have.

There was one throwaway comment that suggested to me he was staying longer too.

Brilliant programme that.

The biggest thing that comes over from him, is that although everyone think we do it in a complicated way, we don't, its just the simple things, perfected.

Was that the one regarding it's not a disaster if we don't win UCL in 3/4/5 Years ? And that it took Fergie a while too ? I picked up on it too

That and he said “if we don’t win the pl next season, we will analyse and improve”, something along those lines
