I know i'll get pelters for it but I actually quite like Phil the face, he is one of the few players they have that actually seems to care and always seems to give his all for them.

I like him too
Makes me laugh. Hope he stays at the swamp for many years contributing to their continuing mediocrity

I know we have a save our peg thread but I think we need a save our Woodward thread too. Absolutely clueless from top to bottom 2 young left wingers at the club they buy a 3rd and pay him 500k a week 5 center half at the club they buy another and don't play him they want out and bought pogba when they already had 3 number 10s they addressed every position they didn't have a problem and didn't address the positions they did fullbacks box to box midfielder right hand side forward brilliant keep up the good work edd.

SOW.

Frankly he is correct we have suffered all this and last season with that problem.
However the tactic allowed him to achieve a distant second place in the PL so maybe more teams will adapt his methods rather than compete using beautiful football.

Article in the Express regarding the joylessness of united’s manager, players and fans.
Compare and contrast with all things blue - joy!

They'll come good again sooner or later,
I'm not so sure. The gulf between us and them is growing wider every day. Next season I anticipate both the Spuds and the Dippers being our rivals, whilst I only see the rags struggling to stay in the top 4. They have not progressed since the Pisscan saw the writing on the wall, if anything they have regressed: it's like they are stuck in the 80's, mullet hairstyles and listening to Duran Duran. I think the closest they came to embracing the 21st Century was under Looney Louie - I genuinely felt he was capable of leading them on to bigger and better things. But no, they ditched him and they've been treading water since.
Maureen is not -and never has been- a man to take a club forward in the manner that Pep, Klopp and Potch can (and have). These are all forward-thinking men who let their players breathe, they let them express themselves creatively on the pitch, something Maureen would never endorse.

At best it's mid-table mediocrity for the rags from now on.

I'm no fan of Man Yoo, in fact other than Spurs, I hate them the most but if there was one redeeming feature they had it was their tradition for flair and an attacking style of play. Devoid that under Mourinho, what's the point of them?
