Mikel Arteta

Coaching position is not a position of sentiment to be given.
It's not that all gone by top players have adopted that role and it doesn't happen.
We are not obligated to fill Arteta's role.
How many roles do people want our club to. Create for those gone??
3?4? Zaba? Kompany? Toure?? Silva??
It doesn't work that way.

As for Iniesta, his input would have been lesser than that of Arteta and thankfully he is off somewhere else .The narrative Arsenal fans are spinning that ManCity's success is down to inputs by Arteta is wrong. He was a part of big staff led by Pep himself.

Can you expand on this please ?

I will be gutted if Zabs is not returning to our club in a coach role.
Well that's all I know really, he said it in one of his last CityTV interviews, she is a designer of some sort and it was an agreement they had together after his playing days were done. I suppose a lot can change though and it doesn't me he wont come back at some point as a coach.

How do you know any of that? All blind supposition on your part there sorry.

Logic says Arteta will probably be replaced because we didn't "create a position" for him to join us in the first place did we? So it's not unlikely that we will seek a replacement, especially given the players comments how helpful it was.

Oh, I missed that, will be a huge shame if he never gets back here.

I can't see this. Arsenal's board seem to be all about making money. I think they'll hire someone with much more experience than Arteta.
Arsenal’s board is all about controlling the purse strings, a big name coming to Arsenal will want a large war chest to rebuild and remake in his style, going off previous seasons, that’s not likely. Arteta will not be on a massive salary, will not have big budgets, and he will be seen as someone who won’t break the mould, but continue in the Arsenal way. He won’t be able to throw his weight around and make big demands.

Rumours flying that the move is off according to some spanish outlet, don't believe it myself

Wonderfully,what does it mean?
Gazidis and Kroenke have opted for someone with more experience.

Emery, according to British reports, is already in contract discussions with Arsenal.

Arteta now has a decision to make to either accept other managerial offers made to him or stay here.

He’ll be amazing as a manager, imo. There’s too much high praise about him. Pep even attributed Sané and Sterling’s development to Arteta, not himself.
What I'm hearing is that Arteta understands and buys into Pep's methods better than anyone and has always shared the same philosophy. I wish him well. The next crop of top managers (sorry head coaches) has to come from somewhere, so why not Arteta ? Arsenal lost their old cohesiveness a long time ago, and Arteta would, at the very least, put the bits of the existing Arsenal jigsaw back together.

I'd be fuming if i was an Arsenal fan, lets tie Arteta down to a new deal now as he is clearly highly regarded
