Who Will Pose A Threat Next Season

I think it will be a lot closer and we only have to look at Chelsea last year to see how massive swings in points can be possible.

More faith in Pep to prevent that but expect it to go to the wire with United or Liverpool.
 
Every team is a threat in some form... Wolves and Cardiff for example gave us very good games last season. Other clubs vying for top 4 or a genuine challenge are about to go all in I reckon.. Rags will sign a decent few players, Bale, and Aulderweild mooted. Chelsea might have Sarri, Spurs might improve under Pochetino and Liverpool are starting to spend.

I see other clubs moves triggered not only through fear of being left behind by us, but the teams realising they are so far behind Spain it's embarrassing.
 
Scousers and scum.

I think with the targets we're going for it looks that we've become complacent in the transfer market after winning the league. It's so obvious if we really went for it the others wouldn't get close whoever they buy this summer. But Mahrez and Jorginho are just squad fillers, in my opinion.
 
Liverpool for sure and probably United (if they secure most of their targets). When you look at what those clubs are aiming for in the transfer market, it's difficult to envision them not closing the gap. Chelsea needs to spend big, but they don't appear to be very active and Sarri (if he does go there) will need to shift a lot of players and will need at least a year to change the style of play. Spurs will be constrained financially and will fight for top 4 at best. Arsenal will finish 6th if they're lucky.
 
Liverpools style of play is very difficult to maintain over 38 games so I don't see them as the main threat, that will come from Utd and Chelsea. After a world cup I see us perhaps starting slower but eventually winning it, unless we get distracted by a better champs league run, which our owners clearly covet. Obviously it would be good to go for both but it's a tough ask.
 
A large number of their players who will probably be first teamers next season are about to hit their peak.

Firmino 26

If they sign a top class keeper (heavily linked with Brazil's No.1, Allison) then you'd be a fool to write them off. The three victories against us (the best team in Europe imo) and their run in the Champions League will give them a lot of belief.

To be honest though, as amazing as it was to win the title by 19 points, I wouldn't mind having more of a challenge next season. Bring it on I say.

Yep, the way he has them play is impossible to keep up for a whole season.
Any side can play in 30 minute bursts but if you don't get a couple of goals up during that time you're fucked,
