You'll find it hard to come up with a better regista than Jorginho.

Last night I watched the full game against Lazio (concentrating on Jorginho) and Napoli were awful, failed to get a grip on the game, Jorginho not involved much, they created nothing ...until this happened in the 43rd minute



After this Napoli were excellent and won 4-1

He has his defensive weaknesses but he will unlock parked buses from the DM position better than anyone we have. And how we deal with parked buses will determine whether we finally retain the title.

I think you are underestimating Mahrez and Jorginho greatly. Be careful about this preoccupation with getting the massive star name as it hasn't worked out for teams like United....Falcao and Di Maria for example were total flops.

I promise you Mahrez will be a great acquisition. And, imo, better than Hazard!

It's not just about signing bigger names (look at how that's worked out for the rags). Besides Mbappe, Hazard and Bale may very well not be for sale.

Personally I'd rather have Mahrez and Jorginho anyway and target Mbappe if he does become available.

Interesting video and nice to see his strengths. I am wondering why Yaya was not tried in that role last season against bus parking teams. I am also of the opiion that Mahrez is a better fit for us than Hazard but still think we need a new goal scorer as both Kun and Jesus seem to pick up knocks.

Our delivery from deep with Jorginho and KDB pulling the strings is going to be ridiculous.

Im not talking about Napoli as a team my friend I’m talking about Jorginho and he isn’t the player we need we need a player full of energy similar to dinho Jorginho isn’t that guy imo

I really rate Mahrez and am over the moon if reports are true that he’s coming to us. But, apart from when they played us where if memory serves me, Jorginho had a very effective game, I know very little about him. Without going to YouTube, am guessing that you rate him?

Well said he ain’t the same player as dinho doesn’t play that sitting role if we’re signing Jorginho as a holding player we could easily get exposed he’s more like a gundogen type player

Think at this stage Yaya slows us down too much. Jorginho tends to release the ball quickly, plays alot of first time passes

We are signing players that will increase our dominance. You have posted several times that you want to see a worldie signed, are you looking for bragging rights at work or something.
 
Manchester City have agreed personal terms with Jorginho of €4.5m-per-year. City and Napoli could strike a deal at €47-48m with bonuses taking it up to €50m. [@claudioruss]

That for me would be great business. Wages under 100k a week seems good for us and the fee is less than i expected.

The wages reported are more like £140k/week.

In Italy, wages are reported after tax, the highest earning players in the country are on €6,5m. So when this Italian journo says €4.5 he means after tax. That works out at roughly £7.3m before tax or £140k/week in English reporting style.
